Alufoil embossing hangers
What you need:
- Folia Template
- DIY Aluminum Embossing Foil in Soft Pastels (#506), Natural Glow (#507), or Iridescent (#523)
- folia Metallic Embroidery Thread
- Felt backing (or several layers of folded newspaper)
- folia embossing & pricking pen
- folia craft scissors
- folia double-sided tape
- folia Pastel Washi Tape
Floral greetings, little goose friends and dreamy houses – with our folia DIY aluminium embossing foil, every design turns into a shiny little work of art!
Choose between soft pastel shades with cute geese, natural floral designs in warm golden tones, or shimmering houses and clouds with an iridescent finish. You can also mix and match the designs from our templates however you like!
So grab your favourite embossing foil and let your creativity run wild!
Print out the template and roughly cut out the design.
Secure the cut-out template onto the rose gold embossing foil using washi tape.
Place the embossing foil on the felt mat (alternatively, fold a few layers of newspaper to use as a soft surface).
Trace the body of the goose with the embossing pen. Use the different sizes of the folia embossing and pricking pens, for example the finer tip for delicate details.
Remove the template and cut the design out of the embossing foil. Leave a small border around the outline you traced.
Place the template onto the gold embossing foil and trace the goose’s feet.
Cut out these pieces as well.
Attach the feet to the body using double-sided tape.
Use the pointed end of the pricking pen to make a hole in the embossing foil.
Thread a piece of yarn through the hole and tie a loop.
