DIY mermaid sugar cones
What you need:
- folia template
- folia crepe paper

- folia motif punch
- folia double-sided adhesive tape
- folia folding bone
Do you want to give away magical Mermaid Kisses? With our mermaid sugar sachets, you'll always be on the happy seaside at the next birthday party. You can't go for a swim in the sea with our paper mermaid, but her mermaid fin can hold sweets and other small gifts that are sure to bring at least as much joy.
Our sugar cone is too small for you, because you need something bigger for the start of school? Then simply scale our template to the size you need. What makes our mermaid even more beautiful? We have designed the template so that you can make the little mermaid with your children. With a good dose of glitter and iridescent paper, this fairytale DIY will make their eyes sparkle as soon as they start crafting.
Print out the templates for the mermaid and the decorator bags. Then cut out the individual parts.
Trace the individual decorations and the mermaid's body onto the corresponding colors of construction paper and cut them out.
Now grab the iridescent paper and the motif punch and punch shiny confetti.
Apply glue evenly to the sugar cone blank. Then spread the DIY confetti over the school cone, press it down lightly and leave the glue to dry. Cover your entire sugar cone in this way.
Now transfer the mermaid's tail fin and top to the iridescent paper and cut them out too.
Stick the sugar cone together with double-sided adhesive tape. To ensure that the tip forms nicely, use a folding bone on the tip of the sugar cone to make it easier to roll up.
Now glue the individual parts of the mermaid together, draw eyes and a nose on the one you are looking for and stick it to the inside of your sugar cone using double-sided adhesive tape.
Now stick a narrow strip of double-sided adhesive tape to the inside edge of your bag.
Cut the crepe paper to the desired height.
Now remove the adhesive paper from the double-sided tape and stick the crepe paper in regular folds on the inside of your mermaid
fill the sugar cone with little surprises and close it with the folia metallic yarn.
