DIY sloth bag
What you need:
- folia template
- folia craft felt
- folia jute decorations
- folia craft scissors
- Hot glue gun and base
When a cuddly sloth snuggles up to us in the fall, it's much nicer to walk through the rustling leaves. Felt not only looks wonderful, it also feels really soft!
Small but mighty: the sloth's belly offers enough space for a cell phone, wallet, etc. And with our pattern template and step-by-step instructions, the cute felt bag can be sewn in no time at all. Without any stress, at sloth speed.
Print out our template and cut out the pieces.
Transfer the shapes to the felt and cut everything out again. Note that you will need all the parts except the back twice.
Carefully glue the felt pieces together using the hot glue gun: First glue the face to the body and then the back, which connects both sides. The back of the sloth (the wide felt strip) will become the bottom of your bag.
Cut 6x one meter of jute cord. Tie a knot and braid the cords together. To make the shoulder strap stronger, use six cords instead of three. Tie another knot at the end.
Carefully glue the braided jute cord on both sides to the inside of your sloth bag using the hot glue.
Then glue the felt leaves to the shoulder strap and your great sloth bag is ready!
