DIY wooden bead stars
What you need:

Star magic at home! With our DIY beaded stars, the cozy Advent season can begin - with lots of glitter for the heart. The pretty wooden beads fit perfectly into any Christmas decoration.
The stars not only look great between Christmas tree baubles, but also make wonderful gift tags for lovingly wrapped books, concert tickets etc. - little extras that instantly add to the Christmas spirit. Of course, we have prepared instructions for you on how to make pearl stars. And to be honest: we prefer to make them snuggled up on the sofa with a warm cup of children's punch in our hands - that's just what Advent feels like.
First, thread 12 beads onto the thread of your folia embroidery yarn and pull it through the row of beads so that the longer end is on the right-hand side.
Now thread the thread through the first bead in the opposite direction. Tip: To make your star more stable, pull the thread through the resulting bead ring once.
Now tighten your pearl ring.
Thread on two beads for the first row of prongs and pull the thread through the next but one bead.
Go around your bead ring until you have finished the first row of prongs.
A third row is now missing for the tip of the star points. For this, always thread your thread through the free-standing bead of the first row, then through the first bead of the second row and now through the new bead.
Then go through the second bead of the second row and the next free bead of the first row.
Finally, pull the star back into shape and knot the ends of the thread. If you like, you can now attach a pretty ribbon to hang it up.
