Our little jumping jack is as cute as an Easter jumping jack can be. Whether as a fuzzy sheep or a cheerful Easter bunny, this DIY toy will immediately win the hearts of everyone and bring a little Easter magic with it. As a decoration, it looks just as good in the children's room as it does in the living room and ensures a cheerful bounce everywhere. And of course, for children, the jumping jack is a play-loving friend who immediately invites them to pull on the string.
The classic wooden jumping jack gets a paper update and lots of creative possibilities. With our templates, even small hands can make them easily. In just a few quick steps, you can turn paper into a bouncing bunny or a bobbing lamb just waiting to catch your eye. Honestly, who could resist? We, for one, love to pull on the string in a cozy endless loop.
Schritt 1
Cut out all the parts using the template and glue together the parts that are not movable. Paint on the face and then punch out the holes for the brads (pattern clips) on the body, arms and legs in a suitable size using the hole punch pliers. Then attach the arms to the body with the brads from behind. Take care not to bend the pattern clamps too tightly, otherwise the limbs will not move well enough. Now pierce the paper from front to back with the needle in the arm above the hole for the pattern clamp and guide the embroidery thread to the left, to the other arm and pierce from back to front.
Schritt 2
Knot the thread together so that the arms are pointing downwards. Do the same for the legs.
Schritt 3
To allow the puppet to move, tie the decorative cord to the embroidery thread at the top and bottom. You can attach another piece of embroidery thread to the head to hang it up.
