Mirror Crossaint
Our sparkling way to start the day – and no baking required! Transform your polystyrene foam block into a delicious-looking croissant. Carve, shave, and rasp to your heart’s content until it takes on its classic shape. Then add an extra touch of sparkle with the Mosaic Stone Roll for a dazzling finish. In no time, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind pastry with a guaranteed wow effect!
First, print the folia croissant template on A4 paper and cut it out.
Place the foam block on a suitable work surface. Using a sharp craft knife and/or a file, roughly remove all material that is not part of the croissant shape. Use the printed template as your guide.
Gradually work your way toward the elongated, curved basic shape of the croissant. Turn the piece regularly to view it from different angles.
Slowly refine the curves and details of the shape. Smooth any uneven areas with sandpaper.
Once you are happy with the shape, you can paint it with acrylic paint if desired. Then cover the block with the Mirror Tiles.
Using a sharp craft knife, cut the Mirror Tiles into individual strips or sections and apply them to your croissant. It is best to start in the center and work your way outward and downward.
