Roarrrrrr - art on fabric has never been so easy! Whether it's a shirt, jute bag, trousers or even an old handkerchief - with folia textile markers, every piece of fabric becomes a canvas in no time at all. A few colorful strokes here, a few fine details there, and the result is a design that is as individual as you are.

What's special about our textile markers? With the right pressure on the tip of the pen, you can easily switch between large areas of color and delicate fine lines. This allows you to create bold tiger stripes just as easily as intricate patterns or small shadow effects. The paints glide smoothly over the fabric, dry quickly and turn every textile into your own unique piece. With our instructions, the painting template to download and a few simple tips, you can create your first textile design in no time at all. Whether you want to design a single motif or an entire outfit - let your creativity roar! So: spread out the fabric, grab your paints, pull out your pens and turn every textile into a little work of art!

Schritt 1
First wash your fabric and download the template and instructions.
Schritt 2
Place a piece of cardboard inside the shirt to prevent the color from seeping through.
Schritt 3
Cut out the template and place the lion's head on your shirt.
Schritt 4
Trace the outline of the lion's head and draw the details of the face. Tip: Use graphite copy paper (carbon paper) and then color in the eyes, nose and open mouth in black.
Schritt 5
Iron inside out or cover the design with baking paper. (This will prevent the colors from bleeding)
Schritt 6
Finally, paint your lion's head in yellow and the heart in pink (for the large lion's head).
Schritt 7
Iron your motif, cut the lion's head out of paper and cover it with the paper.
Schritt 8
Draw the lion's mane with thin marker lines, starting from the head. You can use all colors for a colorful mane. Finally, iron your motif.

Paint on the light color first. Now you can paint the darker color into the still wet light color.
Now take the light marker again and paint the dark color into the light area.
For transparency (as in this example), blur the color with a little water. For gradients, paint two or more colors and blur the colors with a little water. Paint half of your cloud.
Now smudge the paint into the white fabric with a little water.
