What you need:
Anyone can make chicks, but at Easter we have a really cheeky chameleon hopping out of the egg carton. It's not just the eggs themselves that can be colorfully decorated, their cartons are also little quick-change artists with lots of crafting magic. Upcycling is therefore one of our favorite DIY adventures. It's good for the environment and puts a cheerful smile on our faces. From egg cups to colorful trendy animals, there is much more to a cardboard box than meets the eye. A real chameleon.
Cardboard can be reinvented time and again as gift packaging, storage boxes or animal craft materials. So don't throw it away when the eggs have flown out again, but use it creatively. Who knows what wild ideas will crawl out of the cardboard when designing your chameleon. Any piece of cardboard can suddenly become a little crafting wonder.
Schritt 1
Detach the bumps from the egg carton. You can cut out the feet, tail, eyes and ears from the lid of the egg carton.
Schritt 2
Paint the individual parts with chalk paint. You can set the color gradient as you wish. Then paint the eyes black with our dual-tip fiber pen.
Schritt 3
Finally, glue the individual parts together with the hot glue gun.
