What you need:
Egg, egg, egg - today a kangaroo is serving you the Easter egg! Whether it's Easter, a family breakfast or Sunday brunch, an egg cup is only half as pretty as a table setting. And this is exactly where our little kangaroos come into play: made from toilet paper rolls, they give your breakfast egg the perfect stability. After all, who wants to start the day with an overturned egg?
This DIY hits the mark twice over: upcycling with toilet paper rolls is all the rage - and the kangaroo with its charming pot-belly is THE trend animal par excellence right now. The best thing is that the cute egg cups are made in no time at all. Thanks to our template, the kangaroo almost creates itself - and of course you can also make any other favorite animal the star of your breakfast table. From an Easter bunny to a cat to a dinosaur: anything is possible. No toilet rolls in the house? Kitchen rolls work just as well, and psst: This DIY is perfect for little craft fans. So: grab the craft scissors, get set, go!
Schritt 1
Transfer the template onto the construction paper, cut out all the parts and stick the individual parts of the face onto the kangaroo's body. Also cut the toilet roll into two different sized pieces.
Schritt 2
Stick the toilet roll between the kangaroo's thighs. Use the small piece for the baby kangaroo and the large piece for the mummy kangaroo.
Schritt 3
The kangaroos with egg bellies are ready for the next breakfast!
