Aluminum La Dolce Winta

La bella robusta (aluminum crafting cardboard) for everything that needs shape, la morbida (aluminum foil) for smooth sparkle, and la struttura (embossing foil) for shiny details. Our mini DIYs are quick to make, instantly wow and full of dolce winta feeling - from shiny hair clips to a little sardine love tin. Schritt 1

Chic lampshade

What you need:

This is how to make:

  1. Cut out the template and transfer it 4x two different colors of the aluminum cardboard, e.g. blue and pink.
  2. Carefully glue the edges of the rectangles together to form a lampshade using double-sided adhesive tape.
  3. Place it on the lampshade blank and glue it in place with hot glue.
  4. Make sure you use an LED light bulb (E27) to avoid heat build-up.
  5. Tip: Adapt the template to your lamp: Shorten or lengthen it as desired or according to the dimensions of your lamp!

Bow earrings

What you need:

This is how it's done:

  1. Place the template on the aluminum cardboard and trace it with the embossing pen.
  2. Cut out the bow from the aluminum cardboard and pierce a hole in the middle.
  3. Attach the earring hook to it. Che chic!
Schritt 3

Napkin shrimp

What you need:

This is how to craft:

  1. Cut out the template and transfer it to the different colors of aluminum cardboard.
  2. Carefully cut out all the parts.
  3. Bend the body of the shrimp along the dotted line.
  4. Stick all the parts together with double-sided adhesive tape or hot glue.
  5. Cut 2x red craft wire for the antennae and 3x for the legs and glue them to the back of the head and body.
  6. Add a napkin and your napkin shrimp is ready!

Collar with flounces

What you need:

This is how to craft:

  1. Cut out the template and glue it together. Transfer it to the aluminum cardboard and cut out both parts.
  2. Cut the blue tulle fabric 5 cm wide.
  3. Stick it to one of the two collars using double-sided adhesive tape. Stick it 2 cm wide onto the collar and let it stick out 3 cm.
  4. Stick the second part of the collar onto the first part.
  5. Cut two strips of rainbow tulle fabric and staple them to the collar. Tie a bow.

Shiny hair clips

What you need:

This is how it's done:

  1. Cut out the template, transfer the motifs to the aluminum foil and cut out all the parts.
  2. Glue the parts together with glue stick, e.g. the leaf on the lemon.
  3. Carefully stick the finished motifs onto the hair clips using hot glue.
Schritt 6

Cheeky sardine tin

What you need:

This is how to craft:

  1. Place the template on the aluminum embossing foil and transfer/emboss the motifs onto the embossing foil.
  2. Cut out all the parts.
  3. Stick the two strips (A and B) to the inner base (C) using double-sided adhesive tape.
  4. Stick the three fish (D) on with 3D adhesive pads for a cool 3D effect.
  5. Stick the two strips (E and F) onto the lid (G).
  6. Stick the "Sardines" label (H) on top.
  7. Stick on the ring tab (I).
  8. Carefully roll the rectangle (J) using a round pin. Stick it to the top of the lid so that the edge of the lid and the edge of the ring flap are covered.
  9. Cut a piece of cardboard (approx. 1.5 cm high) and glue it into the sardine tin. You can glue several pieces of cardboard on top of each other to achieve a height of 1.5 cm.
  10. Glue the base with the sardines onto the cardboard/ sardine tin.
  11. Stick on the lid. Buon appetito!
Schritt 7

Sparkling leftover pizza

What you need:

How to craft:

  1. Cut out the template and glue both parts of the pizza together.
  2. Transfer the pizza template to the material of your choice, e.g. red aluminum cardboard, and cut it out.
  3. Cut out toppings from different materials such as salami, cheese, mushrooms, basil and anything else you can think of! You can also tear aluminum scraps into a shape.
  4. Crumple up some golden aluminum foil and stick it to the edge of the circle.
  5. Stick the toppings onto your pizza. Buon appetito!
