DIY planetary bear lantern
What you need:
- folia template
- folia metallic lantern blank, iridescent
- folia chenille wire
- folia clay paper
- folia Iridescent Mix

- folia double-sided adhesive tape
- folia 3D glue pad
- folia glue stick
- folia craft scissors
Our planet bear has a mission: he has been dreaming for ages of floating along in a lantern parade himself. Side by side with all the twinkling lights, fluttering paper lanterns and cheerfully dancing children. He is already practising hard on his little planet: sometimes it shines brighter than the Milky Way, sometimes it shimmers softly like the moon behind a cloud. And now the moment has finally come when his big wish will come true!
With our craft template for the planet bear lantern, you can bring your little space friend to life in no time at all. A few loving cuts, some glue and perhaps a touch of stardust and he'll be sitting comfortably on his mini planet, eagerly awaiting his first galactic appearance. As soon as his little light shines, it almost seems as if he is happily tumbling through the stars. Whether it's for a classic lantern parade, an evening walk or as a shining decoration in the children's room. Your planet bear is guaranteed to bring a sparkle to the eyes and a good dose of cosmic magic. So: craft supplies ready? Then off into the universe, because today your planet bear will light up the sky!
Print out our template and cut out the individual parts. Transfer the templates to the clay paper and the iridescent paper and cut them out again.
Glue the individual parts of the bear together with a glue stick. Leave out the arms so that you can attach the chenille wire later. Then paint a cute face on the bear.
Take three chenille wires and cut them to the desired length. Glue a star to the tip of each wire using a hot glue gun and attach them to the bear.
Now you can attach the bear's arms over the wires using adhesive pads or a hot glue gun.
Cut the white tracing paper to fit the lantern and stick each one to the inside of the lantern using double-sided adhesive tape. Fold the lantern together and secure it with double-sided adhesive tape.
Glue four chenille wires together and fix them to the side of the lantern by either gluing them to the side with the hot glue gun or drilling two small holes in the lantern.
Activate the battery of the decorative light and attach the light to the lantern. Then stick the bear onto your lantern and hook the lantern wire into the pre-punched holes in your lantern.
Grab a lantern stick and enchant the lantern parade with your galactic planet bear lantern!
